• Research & Claims Data: Any claims, assertions, source documents, or links you input for evidence mapping.
• Technical Usage Metadata: IP addresses, browser types, and usage patterns collected via local performance telemetry.

2. Data Usage & Purpose

Your data is strictly utilized to power your personalized casebook dashboard, execute evidence verification analysis, and structure citation relationships. Specifically, we use this information to:

• Provide real-time citation accuracy score matching.
• Maintain historical logs of claims and verified proof for your personal archives.
• Optimize search index speed for common public source verifications.
• Diagnose platform bugs or compatibility issues.

3. Evidence Integration & Zotero Sync

When you sync your academic reference manager (such as Zotero) with ClaimEvidence Casebook, we access only the metadata folders, tags, and collections you explicitly authorize. We do not store copies of your PDF library documents locally unless you explicitly upload them to our secure analysis sandbox. Learn more about references in our Zotero Integration guide.

4. Security & Infrastructure

We treat your intellectual work with top-tier security standards. All data transmitted between your browser and our casebook platform is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). In addition, claim databanks are encrypted at rest using AES-256 standard protocols.
